Gospel Artist Henry Hall and New Dimension Promises to Keep the Gospel Music Sound Alive During Interview with The Journal of Gospel Music
As a new Gospel artist, Henry Hall and New Dimension have quickly learned the importance of being unified as a group and keeping the Gospel Music sound alive.
The group's founder, Henry Hall had the privilege of being interviewed by acclaimed Gospel Music journalist, Bob Marovich of The Journal of Gospel Music, where he shared truth about his multi-faceted group and being connected to Gospel Music.
During the interview with The Journal of Gospel Music, Henry Hall was excited to introduce his group to the world and share his thoughts on the Gospel Music sound:
"Hall is back with another live recording, Declaration of Dominion, which features a new constellation of vocalists, New Dimension. Hall describes the group as a multi-denominational assembly “of committed singers, worship leaders, and musicians from the churches I’ve sang with over the years.”
He added: “Every one of [New Dimension] could rightfully step out and produce their own project. I’m honored and humbled that they would come together and bring their talent to make this project great.”
“We’re a small ensemble but you definitely hear the choir feel,” Hall explained. “There’s a movement to bring the choir back, but there’s also a movement to bring back the music you grew up on in church. We have a song [on Declaration of Dominion] that is a foot stompin’, hand-clapping song called ‘The Word Works.’ You would think you were in grandma’s church 20 years ago! It’s important that we don’t lose the historic value of gospel music.”
